The most generously sculpted seating this side of your living room sofa and a whole new level of ergonomically designed perfection. Wide, sculpted seating positions create a larger area of contact for excellent weight distribution. Shaped like your body to eliminate pressure points and give long lasting support that will keep you in the saddle all day.
Corbin’s rigid fibertech basepan provides a perfect fit and is built low to hug the frame. This allowed us to create a foam shape that keeps you in the sweet spot which provides a feeling of increased integration with the bike and more positive feeling of control. Deep, supportive bucket design gives 4.5 inches of vertical support. All of this adds up to a very relaxed posture and comfortable ride.
For added convenience we’ve built a door into the nose of the saddle for fueling. This provides much easier access at gas stations and allows your passenger or dufflebag to stay in place on the bike. Door is made from molded ABS with a leather pattern to visually integrate with the seat. Saddle is also available with the option of electric seat heaters for an added bit of luxury. Corbin seat heaters integrate with your Spyder’s existing wiring for simple installation. Just plug into the existing seat heater plug and away you go.
Dual Touring saddle is designed to allow use of the OEM rider backrest option. Space is provide in the saddle for the mounting tongue to integrate with the chassis’s plastic support.
Our exclusive Comfort Cell foam provides firm support that stays resilient indefinitely. We cast this special Closed Cell material nearly twice as firm as the stock foam to support your body weight. Soft foam allows your body to fall through it the longer you sit on it… once compressed, soft foam offers no resilience and you start to experience discomfort. That’s why we always say “firm is a good thing!”
On the outside we include a wide variety of material options at no extra charge, including genuine leather. To coordinatee with the OEM components shown above, we used Black Polaris vinyl seating with Matte Black sides and Silver stitching. We prefer leather seating because it is durable, will breathe with your body and adapt with the foam shape as it breaks in. Vinyl side panels help to support the foam shape and keep the cover looking nice longer. A wide variety of color and texture options are available.
Saddle provides simple installation that integrates with the Can-Am lock system. Brackets come preinstalled on the saddle so it’s ready to go right out of the box. If you opt for electric heat, we include a wiring pigtail that integrates with the factory harness and preinstall all other components on the saddle.
