Description
Classic Solo provides an excellent riding position combined with a nostalgic look. Wide, dished seating gives you a greater area of body contact for superior weight dispersion. Naturally the Classic Solo is built with our high-density Comfort Cell® foam for a firm supportive ride that will last all day.
All Classic Solo models work with our removable rider’s backrest for added back support. Corbin backrests are fully adjustable for a tailored fit to your posture and are simple to install with just a single lock screw under the saddle. Once installed angle adjustment is simple and does not require removal of the backrest. Choose any of the backrest models we offer to suit your taste.
Classic Solo works with two different models of passenger pillion pads. Corbin pillions bolt up easily with your Classic Solo to add passenger capability to your bike and unique looks. We have two models to choose from depending on the look and degree of comfort you want to supply your passenger. Our Standard Pillion offers a generously sculpted seating position built thick for mid-range comfort. For a sleeker look, our 50’s style pad is a low profile version built with high-density foam that offers good short range comfort. Both models are made to coordinate with your solo saddle with a matching cover pattern. Both models work with your factory sissy bar and we even offer coordinating sissy bar pads.
As with all Corbin saddles, genuine leather seating is included in your choice of colors and styles. Leather makes a great seating material due to its durability and its ability to breathe with your body. Leather will also break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Coordinated vinyl side panels complete the look and keep your saddle shape tight. For a more customized look, chrome studs make a nice option and are included at no additional charge… all you have to do is ask! Just remember that you need to care for your leather saddle properly using a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help your leather to stay water resistant and develop its own unique character as it ages.
No other motorcycle saddlemaker in the world offers this kind of versatility and quality in their saddle designs. Genuine leather, removable backrests, Comfort Cell® foam and a host of included decorating options make Corbin the best value around for your hard earned dollar! Additionally, our Classic Solo Saddles are simple to install on your stock Softail chassis. They use a nose tab in the front and secure with the side bolts into your chassis. Some late model Softails don’t include these bolts and have plastic plugs in their place. If you need bolts, we offer a stainless steel pair (#ST0-BOLT)… or check with your local Harley dealer.

Why did I ever leave?
Just wanted to say that I have been happily riding on a Corbin Hollywood Solo seat for 6 years, only to discover I wanted a backrest for long trips. I had a big trip planned, and checked into getting the faux ostrich classic solo seat from Corbin (2 weeks to get it). So, at the urging of many, I bought a Mustang seat (2 days delivery). They promised me I would love it.
What do they say… patience is a virtue. I rode on that seat for 2,000 painful miles, my a** hurting each day after 2 hours. I am happily back on a Corbin Classic Solo, that gives me the support I need with the dense foam.
I question my sanity, why did I ever leave? Ha!

This saddle cover has been updated to use our new backrest hardware cover with the sliding door as shown here. To install the backrest, just slide the cover over to the side. When the backrest is not needed, just slide it closed. It doesn’t get easier than that! Click image for details.
